About the Program

The B.Sc. Public Health is a four-year undergraduate program that prepares students to become proactive leaders in the promotion of health, prevention of disease, and protection of communities. The program equips students with a multidisciplinary understanding of population health, epidemiology, environmental health, health policy, and behavioral sciences.

Students will gain practical and analytical skills to assess community health needs, develop evidence-based interventions, and advocate for health policies that promote equity and access. Through a combination of lectures, research, fieldwork, and internships, the program emphasizes prevention, health promotion, and policy development at local, national, and global levels.

Graduates will be capable of designing and managing health programs, conducting public health research, monitoring and evaluating interventions, and collaborating with governments, NGOs, and international agencies to solve pressing health challenges.

With growing demand for public health professionals, this degree prepares graduates to work in disease control, environmental health, global health, maternal and child health, health education, and health systems strengthening.
